  • Part of the Ixora family in The Flower Universe collection, this exquisite lapel pin takes its inspiration from the vibrant Ixora coccinea, often referred to as the Flame of the Wood. Celebrated for symbolising fertility, passion, and good fortune, the design elegantly captures the essence and dynamic energy of this iconic flower.

Meticulously crafted through a blend of intricate wire manipulation and traditional handcrafted filigree techniques, the lapel pin features two delicate Ixora flowers that gracefully bloom from an asymmetrically forked silver pin. Adding to its charm, the design is accented with a lustrous freshwater pearl and completed with a polished silver push-on pin cover, combining sophistication with practicality.

This piece serves as a tribute to the Ixora’s profound symbolism of prosperity and good fortune, encapsulating its cultural significance in a timeless design.

Perfect for those who value heritage, elegance, and thoughtful craftsmanship, this lapel pin beautifully celebrates nature’s abundant blessings while making a refined style statement.

    • Rooted in the heritage of Indonesia’s Pasisir Batik from Pekalongan, The Flower Universe collection reimagines the traditional Sekar Jagad batik through an alternate interpretation: in this view, "Sekar" means "flower" and "Jagad" means "universe," as opposed to the conventional "Kar Jagad," which translates to "world map."

While this interpretation differs, the core values and message remain unchanged: to celebrate diversity and embrace unity within it. We chose this alternate meaning to highlight the distinctive qualities of Central Java's Pasisir Batik, which is known for its rich floral motifs, each symbolising unique cultural meanings.

The collection is organised into Eight themed "universes" or families: Jasminum, Ixora, Hieracium, Sambucus, Achillea, Lobularia, Phlox and Bloom. Each of these reflects a unique floral world, showcasing the symbolic and artistic diversity that defines Pasisir Batik.
