THE STORY BEHIND

"IT IS NOT ONLY ABOUT MATERIAL OBJECTS OR PROPERTY, BUT ALSO THE SPIRITS AND IDENTITY"
With a vision to sustain traditional arts and craftsmanship in this machine production era. Pusaka, meaning "Treasure" or "Heirloom" in Indonesian, is a London-based jewellery studio that focuses on the arts of filigree and wire manipulation.
Our making process involves drawing a piece of metal into fine wire before it is spun, compressed and arranged into intricate ornamentations.
We believe that more than just adornment, jewellery acts as a storytelling medium. From a myth and legend long forgotten to a life story of someone in this modern civilisation, there is always more than what meets the eye behind every piece of jewellery.
"Highly intricate and sculptural, our products are rich in story and tradition. It is a product rooted in tradition, created with passion, and driven by innovation."
With identity, quality and continuity as the brand DNA, at Pusaka, we utilise crafts production to manufacture our products. Using traditional hand skills and techniques, we could minimise our product waste while prioritising the quality and perpetuity of each item as an heirloom rather than an ephemeral object/item.
We also try our best to identify our supply chain, recycle our production waste, and opt for eco-friendly options when possible.
We also work with suppliers and like-minded people to promote the importance of traditional handwork in this machine production era.
OUR CUSTOMER
At Pusaka by Edwin Charmain, we celebrate the stories behind each piece of jewellery. It’s not just about the design; it is also about the heritage, culture, and symbolism that are intricately woven into every detail. Guided by our values and vision, we’ve identified three distinct customer categories, each with its own unique connection to the rich artistry and meaning of our jewellery.
